Eligibility Criteria for NSC Recruitment 2024

Education Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in either Hindi or English, where English or Hindi was a compulsory or elective subject, or the language of instruction.
  • Alternatively, a Master’s degree in any subject where the medium of instruction was Hindi or English, and English or Hindi was a compulsory or elective subject.
  • Or, a Master’s degree in any subject with both Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects, or one of them as the medium of instruction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of an additional language listed in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution.
  • A translation certification or certificate from an accredited school that teaches both Hindi to English and vice versa.

Experience

  • Two years of experience translating between Hindi and English in Central or State Government offices, including Government of India undertakings. If you have the preferred qualifications listed above, this experience isn’t mandatory.

Salary Details

  • Basic Pay: Rs.22,000 to Rs.77,000 per month.
